Actually, I was the one who submitted the alias for Tenshi. ^_^; I did it right after watching ep 5. Didn't know how long it would take to approve. (I wasn't even sure if it would get approved...But I figured it'd have a chance, or else I wouldn't have bothered.)

How about ruins? I think we should use it since we don't have that many landscape tags. We have the image base to use it.

We have a ruins tag? Next you'll tell me we have a runes tag. (we don't as it turns out XD )

Also, the reason landscape is low is because we never decided if it should be landscape or scenic.

I don't think that matters, it just seems like we have low amount on landscape tags.
Using tags like buildings city or house

Since we cleaned up all the old tags, we should start building up the tag base the way we want it.

I was more or less meaning add it to the ones we have now, but whatever.

landscape: Any image that has land in it, as in hills, grassy plains, mountains, forest, things along those lines.

scenic: Any image that doesn't fall under the landscape, as in cityscapes, buildings, space scapes, those images that has the space ships in the clouds.

For what you said on MSN(sorry about that, MSN even on my phone is being a bitch), you can keep it that way, landscape ---> scenic and still use the "rules" I stated.

I do see the point in being more specific about the posts that aren't focused on characters.

How about ruins, buildings and landscape are subtags of scenic.
That way all posts not focused on characters are under one tag, and you don't miss the other lot.

Ruins covers anything run down, including those planes.
Buildings covers things like post #59282 - even if it is just a building.

city and house are hard to define properly, especially when you get futuristic city-in-a-building.

That works, though there are some images, like post #75182 where city and ruins are applicable, but I don't know if it would be considered scenic. So all that remains is do we blanket alias with nice wiki definitions, or leave it upto users?

Also, I've added an alias for katana (86) to sword (1038) - sheer numbers. Now is the time to speak up if you think the other way round is better.

Sword is not really an alias for katana. It is not an 1:1 relationship. But all katanas are swords so I added an implication.

Rather have her then clipper, thats for sure.

Anything is better than clipper. I always changes it to links (cat) or turned it off.
Now I use OpenOffice, and it has no annoying assistant.

I do not feel the need to. Is correctness really that important? The implication is already up, so sword is in a very good state now. katana can only improve with time.

cosplay parody and crossover need wiki's for them so we (I) can know which to add to a image. Their pretty much the same thing....right?

Crossover: When at least two characters, from two different series, appear in the same post.
Parody: An imitation from another character, scene or copyright.
Cosplay: When a character wears clothes from other character. Each may be from different series.

korokun's definition are about right. They do seem to be used interchangably at times, but they each refer to a specific situation/style.

Actually, should they be mark off as Style-type tags, rather than general, then? Parody I can definitely se more as a Style tag.

Question: Do you think a Houkago_Tea_Time tag would be useful for IDing images of the main K=On! chars in band mode? (Generally not dressed in typical street clothes or their uniforms; looks like they're performing; looks like promotional art for your typical band, etc.)

Just curious...(Also, dunno how many of the chars would be required: HTT starts with 4 members, but 5 is more typical now. There's also the tag type it should fall under...General in the only thing that fits...) Opinions?

It's the name of the Chobits art book. Should probably be a pool instead of tag.
