I don't have a real SMTP (email) server installed. So some providers will think the email comes out of here is Spam. And sometimes it won't even reach your spam folder.

My advise? Not use them. Gmail is well-known to work fine. I'm not willing to take the effort to just install the smtp server and verify it to microsoft live to get the activation emails working.
You have 7 days to activate your account, your username won't get locked forever if you don't activate it, so you have been advised, after the user has been purged it can be registered again, by ANYONE
