Donations Needed December - January - February
Is that time of the year again where I get kicked of the seasonal job and I don't get my unemployment check 'til mid february.

Surviving 3 months with just the November paycheck and a loan to pay monthly is not an easy feat.

Konachan currently has two servers:

Main Server @ ~190€/month
Backup Server @ ~30€/month

Total Costs around ~220€/month

Seeking goal is to get enough for three months when I'll be able to pay out of my pocket again.

Thanks in advance.

I really want to, but I have no way to do such...Need one of those debit card things. And on that what is the Dollar eqivalent to the amount needed?
Dollar equivalent to Euro is always more. 290$.
http://www.google.co.uk/search?q=190+euro+to+usd

Currently, that would be about 249 USD, 40 USD, 288 USD

Or contact Shuugo and you will see he accepts PayPal :)
Some people may prefer not having the funds removed directly from their accounts. I use PayPal once in a while for certain purchases (like for The Humble Bundle), but I prefer to use my credit cards instead so I at least get the points back on my cards.

When I donated to Kona I used my checking account, I think, but some people may not like/want that method. Or they don't have an actual PayPal account (for whatever reason) need to use guest payment (which would require a card of some type.)

I think if I had the choice, I wouldn't have bother with PayPal. Yes, it did prove useful now and then (when I finally remembered I had an account ^_^;). Given how rarely I used it, though, I don't know if I like the thought of having yet another service having my financial info. On the bright side, at least PayPal is fairly paranoid and will notify me if weird crap happens.

And speaking of Debit Gift Cards... I have enough points on one of my CC's to redeem a universal Visa Debit Gift Card, up to $250 USD in value. I've been thinking of redeeming my points and getting some new PC hardware, but maybe I'll invest it into Kona. I'd normally donate (as proven by my donation history), but I don't have the spare cash (technically I didn't in the past either, but I'm really starting to squeeze my funds now. Especially when you consider how much I tend to donate...)

Guess I'll see which way I go depending on how this donation drive goes and the commitment from the community. It'll be nice if I don't feel like I NEED to donate to help the site out. $250 USD will cover the main server for a month at least (and is roughly a quarter of the needed funds. Yes, I'm rounding it up to $1000 USD. Takes into account any currency exchange rate changes and possible small, unforeseen costs, like monthly data/bandwidth overage charges.)

Actually, I think at this rate, if I donate again, I might make Shuugo feel a bit guilty ^_^; (as if he doesn't feel guilty enough having to ask for donations to begin with...) If I do donate via a Gift Card, it'll be my first donation in USD, funny enough ^_^ All my previous donations were in Euros.
I love you Stahn.
Huh? What did I do? I haven't done a damn thing this donation round.

I haven't said anything about the donations >_> Still love you tho. Feel loved~

@PAIIS: That's a good one. Really good one.
For some reason I doubt it was anyone like what PAIIS is suggesting, but what do I know of the things the universe has yet to be discovered.
