Well this year's fun so far. The only ecchi I don't like so far is Kanokon and it's not because of the fanservice either, it's the female lead Chizuru. If you've seen the show you probably know why I don't like her -3-

My favorite anime for this year by far is Soul Eater. The characters are enjoyable, the action is great and I love the style ^_^

I actually do like her because of her trying to get it on so much. I'd tap it so fast, unlike that wimpy MC.

Well believe it or not, there was a girl in my middle school who was always flirting with me so I can relate to Kouta. That girl was about as shapely (and lustful) as Chizuru but it was still a rough few months for me -3- I don't hate Chizuru but I can't help but feel bad when she forces herself on Kouta. But the submissive little wimp is starting to accept her now so... I guess it's getting better. Honestly it's hard to tell wether he wants it or not -_- overall I think this anime is just average so far.

You know I can enjoy perverts in anime like Master Roshi or Miroku but with Chizuru it just dosen't work for me. I guess because I don't find her antics to be very funny as opposed to those other chars I mentioned. Maybe it's because she's far more forceful than any anime perv I've seen up until now, going so far as to sneak into Kouta's bed or simply try to have sex with him whenever they're alone. She just comes on too strong if you ask me.

For me I liked Chizuru because of how forceful she was. To me it seems like really forceful anime Girls are very rare.

I wish i was in Dog Days. That is one of my dreams to be able to kill people as an animal-eared archer in fake wars, while getting payed for it, and the fact there is hot girls all around. But anime is so cruel to my fantasies.

God Damn it SAO ep 7. Feel so bad for the liz.... Kirito should have gone with a harem plan. It's a plan that makes everyone happy in the end.

Finished Dog Days S1, it is in my top 3. I would compare it to Angel Beats because it is similar to it in some ways. You got the single important guy greeted by the leader of a independent group. The difference is that instead of 1 enemy, which is friendly, there is a whole other group that is the same. I wish there were more anime like this. Also more like Spice and Wolf. Don't know why but it is my favorite.

Done watching Dog Days S2 Ep 7. spoilerOkay, that was hilarious. It's always funny watching people get turned into little versions of themselves. They were pretty freakin' adorable. It's this kind of light-heartedness that makes me love the series. Also, not fair that she stabbed the Demon King in the eyes. There are less painful ways of keeping him from looking.

That Eruka 7 anime is going to be on adult swim next Saturday. The sad thing is that it is replacing DeadMan Wonderland. Why couldn't they take Bleach instead. *sob* *sob* *still sobbing*

Deadman Wonderland was a good show but i really hated the wimpy/super depressed MC parts. But i guess that's what you get for taking a high schooler and putting him in a jail that forces you to play games that can kill you.

Oh that's right! I forgot about Toonami! Oh well, it'll still be there in a few months... right? No, I mean seriously. Not to jinx it or anything but is Toonami really back for good this time? I hear there are some problems with the ratings which is a bit worrying.

These days I have more fun after dark because that's when I watch Soul Eater and the One Piece "Thriller Bark" episodes. I just added Rosario + Vampire to my late night roster and I'm enjoying it so far. With all the classic monsters between these shows and Soul Eater's dark yet whimsical style my nightly marathons have a sort halloween-ish feel to them ^_^ does anyone know of any other creepy, supernatural anime I could add to this? How about something scary?

Alright I've been meaning to ask this for a while now. Am I the only One Piece fan here? I know Manu is into it but I never see him in this thread.

I only read the manga. I won't touch the anime same goes for any other big three. Lately it even seem I have dropped Fairy Tail anime since it have almost been a year since I last saw an episode.

Don't get me wrong I love reading the mangas but I can't even bring myself to watch the anime. Mainly because of fillers and I already know what's going to happen anyway. You could say the manga spoils the anime for my part.

I get that. It's the opposite for me though. I always end up watching the anime before reading the manga. I actually haven't read much manga so far. I usually only read manga if:

• The anime has a "read the manga" ending
• The anime dosen't do the manga justice
• There is no anime adaption yet

Don't get me wrong, I love reading manga but I generally prefer anime.

I couldn't get into One Piece. A little to crazy weird for me, and I don't like having to watch hundreds of episodes. If you have the patience for it, congrats.

I don't need any patience for it, I enjoy One Piece enough that I wouldn't mind watching it for many years to come. Hell, I heard that the time skip of episode 517 is only the half way point of the story and I couldn't be happier X3 I'm actualy dreading the day I finally catch up to the latest episodes because that would mean I have no more One Piece episodes to marathon TwT

On an unrelated note, I'm having problems with Keroro Gunso. From the start I knew finding subbed episodes of the series online wouldn't be easy but now it's gotten so bad that I've already been forced to watch several episodes raw. And now I'm having problems finding raw episodes so I'm watching it in spanish! It's times like this that I really wish I was bi-lingual -_-

What I don't understand is why I'm having so many problems with this particular anime. It's not very old (in fact it stopped running at over 300 eps only last year) and it's quite popular so why can't I find subbed eps? I've never had this problem with any other series, even lesser known ones like Highschool Girls (and yes, that show is just as generic and plain as it sounds). I. Don't. Get it.

The two most important anime to me are Clannad and Angel Beats. Key does an amazing job of getting you attached to the characters. And they are the only anime to make me cry for the characters, both in sadness and happiness.

On the site i watch anime on, they go to ep.140. Every show is English sub. with Japanese actors. If it helps that much it is called- goodanime.net.

Well I'm at episode 200 now but thanks anyway. I was using animehere.com up until episode 141 and then I had to switch to Youtube where the subs are crap. No seriously. Even the uploader's username is Keroro Crap Subs -3- not that I'm complaining, I've seen much worse and crap subs are better than no subs. Unfortunately he hasn't uploaded enough eps and I don't have another source *sigh* if this keeps up I'll be forced to put Gunso on hold for a who knows how long. Well that or learn spanish -3-

Rosario + Vampire anime, both seasons, do not do the manga justice, and anyone who knows the show and the manga will tell you that immediately. Don't get me wrong, the anime is good, but it's so much better in the manga. It's another case of how Tasogare is, but at the time I actually watched Rosario before I read the manga because I didn't know better until I did start reading.

If you watched the anime, where should you start reading in the manga? Cause i really don't want to be reading the same scenes that i watched in the manga.

About what Foxknight said about Deadman Wonderland. There is no season after that. It ends very abruptly, so it wouldn't make sense for them to keep airing it. They're trying to veer away from all the reruns now.

And I hated Ganta too. So freaking whiney. I don't even whine that much. Also, Shiro was the Redman, if you didn't get that.

A series I hold near and dear? I don't know. I really like all the anime I watch. If films count, I really adore Spirited Away.

So I've heard. And it seems that's usually the case. Let me re-phrase that statement. I should have said: " I may read the manga if the anime is just really bad". The Rosario + Vampire anime is good enough that I don't feel compelled to read the manga even though I know it's better.

I'm watching The Book of Bantorra, No. 6, K-ON! Second Season, Hell Girl: Two Mirrors, Zettai Karen Children, Little Snow Fairy Sugar, Kurenai, I just finished Motto To Loveru, and I'm watching Samurai 7, Casshern Sins, and Eureka 7 on Toonami.

I also recently watched The Place Promised in Our Early Days, which I thought was decent. The animation was gorgeous though.

You sound like me when I was watching Ghost in the Shell. I enjoyed it but for whatever reason I couldn't stay focused on most of the episodes. I'll definitely re-watch it someday now that I have a longer attention span ^_^'

I've been watching Gintama and Keroro Gunso for some time now. More recently I've started watching Kanokon (meh), Chi's Sweet Home (Kawaii!), Sekirei (hee hee...) and a couple other ecchi's. The anime I'm really enjoying right now are Soul Eater and as usual, One Piece. I'm planning to start Hell Girl: Three Vessels later today. Hopefully it will be better than Two Mirrors. Last night I watched Kara no Kyoukai: Remaining Sense of Pain, it's my favorite movie in the series by far ^_^ Oh yeah and I finished Eyeshield 21 yesterday.

Casshern Sins is awesome, but it is a little weird if you skipped the first episode like i did. I also didn't stay up long enough to watch Eureka 7, guess ill watch that too.
