Hey guys its true!! Same shit happening here in South Africa, but its just being put aside as a OD on some drug and their saying its some Poltergeist shit, because people always get possesed around here.

Wait, what!? O.O;

Not that I have much room to object, I've heard stories involving voodoo and black magic in rural areas in South America as well. The curious thing is that these are actually second-hand accounts of things that really happened, so it makes you wonder how possible "curses & spirits" can really be.

Whooo!!
I thought I'd never see you guys again!

I agree with you on the military and money debate, but why doesn't anyone consider that after a few years zombies might become part of society?(like a slum-phenomenon, like something that only happens to the poor, like taxes)
No chance, we could see zombies as a new type of predator, such as lions or tigers, but these animals are in the wilderness of Africa, and not on the entire planet, roaming freely such as zombies...

What we could do however is make a safe haven in a land such as Madagascar, or Greenland, or even Antarctica, the world population would be focused on these safe havens and would drop from the current 7 billion, to about 20 million living humans worldwide, and the rest of the planet is considered DeadZone, only zombies live there, and the world population in the safe havens might return to the rest of the world when all zombies are extinct, which could take decades, because yes, a zombie can die of dehydration, but this can take 3 weeks, or 3 months, and there will also still be new mutations, so some zombies might even die after years, or other mutations might lead the already dead corpses in the graves which were never infected, to become infected anyways (I'm talking about people who already died and were set in their graves long before the outbreaks started)...
I always miss the good stuff when I'm too busy to get on....

plans

zombies

my resolve
I would love a Zombie Apocalypse; it would probably save the planet from humans.

I like the topic, and have a copy of every zombie movie there is, hell, I even have zombie stickers on my truck.

Good reading:

The Zombie Survival Guide - Max Brooks
World War Z - Max Brooks (soon to be a movie with Brad Pitt)

Good Movie about the real thing:

The Serpent and the Rainbow.

The concept of the "Zombie" originated long ago in Africa, where "witch doctors" would take revenge on people by poisoning them with oil from the Puffer Fish, making them wandering, blabbering knuckle-heads, and showing others what "power" the witch doctor had.

Don't know about you guys, but I'm VERY well prepared for a zombie outbreak, as I'm a survivalist anyway. I never turn down the opportunity for some extended target practice either...
Oh, yeah another important question:
Would it be a good idea to go to the underground?

I used to live in a town that was near a bigger town(Munich) and a university.
All of that was connected by a single metro line.

Yes that is an excellent idea, but don't forget that you cant do all the things you could do outside, underground, things such as growing food and vegetables, you also need fresh air to keep your mind calm, and you need the sun... Rodent is also very common underground, which leads to many diseases...

If you want more info about living underground for multiple months/years, you should play the game Metro 2033 or read the book for that game...

I myself wouldnt go underground, or I at least wouldnt stay for a long time underground, my ideal spot is a big area with a good lookout, a mall perhaps, a mall with multiple other survivors so I wont be the only one to defend it, but I would of course just ignore all the other survivors and stay on the rooftops with my own party, where it's safe...
Nah, I was thinking of fleeing through the underground...
The trains were automatised though.
