One thing to love about anime is the amount of effort and care put into it. Here in America no one appreciates animation, they take it for a joke! Seriously, have you seen the cartoons we have these days!? But anime is different, the creators and fans are both passonite about it. Even the lesser anime far outstrip the new stuff we have here. And personally i think that even most of the older american shows don't compare to anime either...
