Well what do you expect when people come at you and tell you something along the lines "It's not good." or "You shouldn't think like that/do that.". We just have to lengthen the conversation because they are trying to convert other people to their beliefs.
Well I have nothing else to say. So this respective reply is totally off-topic. Excuse me for that.
Continue continue. Let other people give their opinions. Unless they be shy. I like to tease shy people.

Hmm, I don't think people are really trying to do that, pushing their believes on others. At least, not intentionally. Sometimes the solution is so obvious for some people, that they can't help themselves but blurt it out, "why do you complicate yourself, it's as simple as this!"
In any and all debates, it is important to be able to place yourself in the shoes of the other person, try to understand where they came from and why they believe the things they do. But not everybody can do that. And sometimes, even when you think you understand where somebody comes from, you can't really understand why they would draw such conclusions.
I guess that's why I like psychology, it's always a fascinating challenge to try to understand other people and the way they think. Not to mention it makes it easier to communicate with them once you "figure out" how they work.

I may be tired as hell but I still know I find the following to be true.
People can never TRULY understand each other. At best approximate responses and reactions but you will never see the world through each others eyes. (This says nothing of the value of trying to do so! Stay open minded for those who already went NO in their head when reading that.)
My views are just as irrelevant as everyone elses. Views are meaningless. (But for humans they are required for some reason). This is why I talk about it at all.
I like how you said "figure out" people. That's the best case scenario :) and I can make sharing time with that person so much better.
What I'm thinking about now though is. If I care about caring when will I stop caring about caring at all. Or am I content with this circle? I'd have to care to know. And now I'm stuck >_>

If we could fully be understood, that'd be sort of boring (or unnerving), for it would mean we have been fully figured out, there's no thought/decision that cannot be guessed before hand... but as Mnessie said, that's not going to happen.
Explanation of why (hint: because we change with time)
Observation about Mnessie's apparent way of viewing the world.

11 months agoIt'd be like simply going around in circles, stating the same conclusions over and over again, just through different points of view (but maybe not even that, but just different words and concepts).
I was thinking on starting a new thread and call it "The philosophy thread", and put there all replies that usually go off-topic into the land of "what if?" musings. Unless you guys think I am the only one who is gonna be using that, in which case I guess it won't be needed :B
Staying on-topic can be so hard.... x_x
