That seems like an impossible question to me. I would get really fed up after a while. I CAN say that the one show I could watch over and over again would be FLCL. But I wouldn't survive if I could only watch ONE anime for the rest of my days. Soooooo, FLCL.
Watch only one? You're crazy. You're a crazy person Agos o3o but I guess if I had to, it would be One Piece. Not only is it a joy to watch but it's looooonoog so I could probably watch it for quite a while before I get tired of it :3 there's also all of the movies, specials and such on the side.
Wait... did Stahn post a public URL to a private dmail? I clicked on the link, curious to what it was, and it asked me to login instead.
Even though my memory works well enough to remember what the issue is with Agos, does it apply in this sense? The opening thread is a simple question, and he answered to it, too. There's really no need to reply to any of the other replies... at least not so far (maybe other than to agree with Emmy).
The question is pretty awful, though... not that the question itself is bad, but the premise is very unlikely. Basically, it's stating that all the anime in the world will be locked away from you, except one series. And this has to be a series you already watched.
Basically, it boils down to.. is there any series which you'd like to watch again and again, if you aren't allowed to watch any anime otherwise?
I guess I'd pick Slayers. Though I'd probably watch it once a year or less often, any more would be too much. If not that... the only other series that comes to mind which was not-short and enjoyable would be the Saber Marionette ones. But I still think I'd pick Slayers.
I am sooo old school, aren't I? I bet I just have missed out on anything more awesome that came afterwards.

At risk of this going off-topic
The site does check for access priveleges to private, non-public data, like dmail. That's the reason I even bothered to post that link.SK7000 said:

Agos has the dubious privilege of catching my long-term attention in a non-flattering manner. The exact nature of this thread's topic starter that you note here is the precise problem we have with these types of threads. Small talk doesn't need its own threads. Konachan's forum is not a blog to post a simple question and receive replies when you're bored and want something to do/read.SK7000 said:

Sorry. I'd like to say I've learned my lesson, but I guess not. I was even trying not to start something that would put me on your black list further. Maybe I'm better off just responding rather than creating...
Just keep to heart what Stahn said: user created threads should spark discussion. So whatever topic comes to mind, if it can trigger a discussion, then it would be ok as a thread. If not, if it's more along the lines of "idle curiosity," then post it in one of the general topic threads.
Toradora. thats probably the one for me.
Great Teacher Onizuka, it's great and awesome...

If you were given the impossible choice to only watch one anime for the rest of your entire life (You can watch it as many times as you want) what would it be?

I wanna change my answer to Gintama.
Lol that show is so random it would probably be the best choice.otaku_emmy said:

I would personally choose Detective Conan.
One: It has over 600 episodes right now. It's still on going (at this moment right now there are 666 episodes).
Two: I believe the main plot is around half of it's completion or not even that much. Thus there's a lot more to come for me to watch.
Three: It's an anime I like a lot.
16 movies, 11 OVA, 5 Magic Files and 8 Magic Kaito specials. There's also some live action dramas. I don't believe those count.

I for one probably would choose Hayate the Combat Butler. It's long enough, it's funny as hell, it makes many parodies to other anime, and is just fun to watch in general.
