This was back when my cats were still kittens. They still hadn't grasped the concept of 'windows' and a hummingbird was hovering outside. My tuxedo cat, Jake, leapt a good 7 feet horizontally to crash into the window.
Another time, my tabby cat, Maxine, was eating from the food bowl, and Jake wanted some as well. He tapped her on the shoulder, went to her other side and started eating when she looked to see who had tapped her. Tuxedo cats are trouble makers for sure.

One of my dogs, jess, she was chasing after a butterfly once, like we're talking full on sprint after this butterfly, so i watch her for a little bit then go to turn away, then 2 seconds later there's a massive bang which is her running full pelt into the glass sliding door leading to the backyard, i turn around and there she is sitting all cross eyed and such, next thing i know she's up and at it chasing the butterfly again. :P
My brother's puppy Anabelle, a kelpie/border collie, seems to enjoy eating everything. And I mean everything! Fruits, nuts, chips, veggies, noodles, ice cubes... you name it. I've nicknamed her Bananabelle 'cos of that hehe ^_^
And my big dog Thunder, a german shepherd, has a grudge against bees.. She steps on them whenever she can.
They are both so naughty. They sleep all day and run around causing trouble all night. (-_-)

No way! My dog's name is Annabelle! She is a full-blooded weenie dog. She's 12. She has this problem where she licks her front legs a lot. It bothers me so bad.
Then I have a dog named Dolly, who is half Beagle/half something else. She lives outside and she's fattish and dirty. She reminds me of a potato. When she potties she lays her whole lower body down. It looks funny. I think it's cuz she has a bad leg. She's very old.
Then there's Lily, our half lab/half pitt bull. She's mean to people she doesn't know. She bites. She likes laying under our porch and killing birds and then playing with their corpses.
Then I have a cat named Miss Kitty (a.k.a. T.T. or KiKi or T. Tat). She's lazy, but she loves me like I am her cat mama. She likes cheese.
I have a cockatiel bird. He has many names. I mostly call him Birdy. He likes being loud and humping his food dish. Yeah, he humps on his food dish to get his kicks. He makes a funny noise when he does it.
Annabelle is the only pet we ever bought. Dolly and Miss Kitty wandered into our yard, we found Lily abandoned in a park, and our bird came from my now deceased grandma.

it's funny, because you could have just asked this in the friendly thread, rather than make a whole new thread... but whatever...

I had a dog named Lily too. Quite the contrast to your dog though. She was chihuahua/fox terrier with long black fur, a puffy tail and a bit of a mane. She died 2 years ago saddly, after being hit by a 4 wheel drive. Very hyperactive and cheerful. She also didn't trust strangers and would playfully evade any attempt to pet her unless it was someone she knew. She was very clever and thought a lot like a human (most of the time), for example,otaku_emmy said:

She knew how to open the gate to escape the backyard
And this one time, we left her some food in the freezer. We brought it out to her so she could eat it later. She immediately took her bowl and placed it in the sun so it could melt.
She also liiked playing with birds too. Thunder (my german shepherd) would catch a bird and Lily would take it and shake it around until it was almost featherless. Hehe I miss that trouble-maker.
I read about this one dog once, forgot the type, that was really weird. He always liked to be on two legs whenever he could, and kept chewing on kids' blankets. He also got into a lot of dogfights. It was back in one of the World Wars where he would sit on top of his doghouse and try to shoot down enemy fighters.
I used to have a male Siamese cat named Mister Kitty. He was old and always smelled musty. But we hadn't nuetered him, so he'd wander. He got run over one morning, in front of Bojangle's. His poor little head was crushed. It devastated me. My mom had to drive and get him out of the road. I went to school crying.
Senakysam...are you talking about Snoopy from Peanuts? Snoopy was a Beagle.

And then I thought to myself, I should make a thread about the many tales users may have about pets the have and the funny/strange/dumb things they do!
So I'll start first, with a fairly recent story of mine, also my favourite because it's happened to all three of them.
3 Stories
Another incident, my dog, Lola, gets really excited when I wake up and is running all over the place, waiting for me to get tot he stairs. Now this particular day, she was a little too excited, and when I sprinted up the stairs as she followed, she slipped halfway and slid all the way back down.
Lastly, my black cat, Kitty, one day while I was upstairs, I was making a sammich and I dropped the bag of meat on the floor, which must have scarred her that she took off to the stairs. I attempted to catch her and console the poor thing, but it was too late. When I reached the door, I saw her, no lie, GLIDE down the stairs. She had apparently slipped ina frantic attempt to flee and just Super Man style glided down the steps.
Now it's your turn. Post as many tales of the antics and stories of your own pets!
