Anybody who knows me knows that I am all for female eye-candy. But as much as I am pleased with some eye-candy, there comes a point where you start doubting the wisdom of the perverts (if I may call it that). To stop speaking in parables and get to the point, let me explain what has me concerned on this game.

Whoever deals the finishing blow in a fight gets a close-up scene where they comment on the results (nothing new there so far). However, what is interesting to note is that males will have a relatively static camera showing them off from the front, whereas females will usually have a much more dynamic camera which twirls and zoomes in their faces at the end. Of course, I am not particularly against such dynamic cameras... if it weren't because they very obviously focus on the buttocks of the character first, before zooming across the breasts, and finally settling up on the face.

This might have raised an eyebrow or two with Reimi at first, but it really got a bit... too much when I got Myuria. Now, remember everything I said in the previous paragraph about the perv-cam? Now apply that to a character who seems to be a D-bust while wearing an outfit composed of a mini-skirt and huge cleavage. You even get to see her panties for a fraction of a second!

Why am I even ranting about all this? Probably because I find it somewhat sexist and unnecessary. It's probably the kind of thing that would turn off females from the game. And that pisses me off.
