I know the first post says to give opinions, but still:
I'm currently playing Star Wars Knights: The Sith Lords(SW KotOR2)
(IMO, it's one of the best RPGs ever made, for different reasons, BTW)
I'm quite confident in my gaming, so please spare me the general tips&stuff, but does anyone know what benefits does being a light-side Sith Lord have, if any?
I couldn't find it on any "professional" sites.
If you don't know, don't bother yourself, I'll found out soon enough anyways.

Haha some people..

Have you tried a site like GameFAQs.com? Games like this tend to get in=dpeth char build FAQs written for them.
I did, but they don't have anything specific on that particular topic, or I didn't find it anyways.
They mostly had "correct" character builds.
Mine is a bit.... unorthodox.

Did you check the forum for that game there? They sometimes have more info in the forum for a game than on the FAQ page for it.
Looking through 110 pages was too much of a bother, so I stopped after 20, and used search afterwards.
No hints anyways, but it's fine. I'll find out soon enough anyways.

Just will tell you guys that School Days HQ is now released in US. So now you can get the game legit and get the ending you want or have similar ending like the anime.
Got to love Steam and it's sales. ^_^
Yep. Picked up more games i probably won't play but i have them if i wanted to.
Steam is awesome, got to love Killing Floor and Terraria.
Bwaarghh, can't seem to get PSO2 working. 3 Patches done, I can launch the game.. But I can't sign in. I followed a Tutorial and I think something is going wrong with registering my ID with PSO2.. Whenever I want to link it I get send to some registration service, MJ.net which asks me for another account.. Bah
Isn't that a JPN game only? Or is there a English patch?
There's supposedly an unofficial ENG patch, I think. SEGA will be releasing PSO2 in NA and EU come 2013 anyway though. It was announced last week.
Ah then I'll just wait since I want to have a better PC anyways.
I bought Portal 2 and Ys: The Oath in Felghana during the sales. Ys was a promotional offer that lasts 8 more days, tho. Already had Ys: Origin.
Is Ys worth buying? Since I'm limited on cash, I have to watch what I buy.
Depends on which one of the series you buy. Oath and Origin have similar gameplay, and both are rather short. Ys Seven is different, and a bit to easy if you are familiar with the series, but much longer.Kumacuda said:

All have rocking, top-notch soundtracks and brilliant, intense boss battles you will remember.
Intense boss battles? I am reminded of Lost Odyssey, that was the most recent game I finished which had actually hard boss battles.
Honestly, most RPGs are relatively easy nowadays... though I wonder if that's in part because I tend to over-level myself by simply roaming too much :S
This is what happened on my current RPG: Star Ocean: The Last Hope. When I got to the first boss and I got my third party-member, he was L3, when I was.... L8. How the hell did I levelled so much when every battle gives only 2 exp? o.O; I swear I was just exploring and not trying to grind...

Yeah, the bosses in the Ys games kill you in 30 seconds if you screw up. Turn Nightmare mode on and you will never again complain about easy boss battles. The bosses are hard, but fair. If you die, you know it was your fault, not some overly mean japanese developers. (Accept it, there are more of these around than necessary)
However, in the first games, you still can overlevel yourself. I died many times against the first boss, I simply didn't do enough damage when I hit him. So I just got one level more and a new sword... and killed the boss with three strikes. I was really disappointed because I stripped myself of an epic boss-fight.

Just got blazblue limited edition from zavvi for real cheap, was like 15€ including shipping.
Really enjoying playing taokaka and platinum_the_trinity

I know we all enjoy playing as Litchi-faye-ling for... obvious reasons...
I can't remember the last time I sat down and played BlazBlue *sigh* I miss Tao... Oh. Hello Manu, it's been a while hasn't it?
I don't enjoy playing Litchi so much... for non-obvious reasons xP
Platinum is pretty nice. I am not too much into fighting games, I played through BlazBlue for the story, I really like it.
I think I just never had enough time to get into BlazBlue, anyway... the last fighting game that I really got into was Guilty Gear, and we'd play hours upon hours of non-stop fighting with my brothers and some friends.
I really loved GG Isuka and the whole 4-people-royal-rumble battles xD But that's probably because I enjoyed wreaking havoc and I didn't care too much about winning in particular.
Also, Testament is awesome, that is all.

Me and my friends love GG and Blazblue. I'm a Taokaka player but I'm not "that" good so I need to learn more about her combos and stuff, which I've been kind of putting off, which I shouldn't.
Anyway, anyone know the word on Mechwarrior Online? I plan to play that game since I love Mechwarrior/Battletech so much. Doesn't seem to be very known since it isn't being released like a normal game, since it's Free-2-Play like LoL, Maple Story, etc. Still, should be very enjoyable.

So, since a couple of weeks ago I've been playing Star Ocean: The Last Hope. And even though at first I pretty much fell in love with Reimi (gotta love that long ponytail of hers), I've started to question the ... artistic integrity of the game developers.
Long rant about what might be construed as sexism in this game.
I really like the game so far, but this particular aspect has bugged me so much I felt a need to rant. Sorry ;_;

11 months agoOn the other hand, it bloody fucking awesome when you can rampage through 99% of the game in a decked-out super frigate (or a super sub). Kinda sad that carriers pretty much suck in the game on the player's side. (Enemy carriers get infinite aircaft. You do not...)
