I probably won't be around much for the next couple weeks.

I've exhausted the serviceable parts in the thee spare Gateway AnyKey keyboards I bought 14 years ago. I've had to fix this keyboard three times this month... Bridging severed connections is easy enough with a circuit writer pen. But fixing shorted connections where the circuit runs overlap is not so easy.
My last good sheet is shorting the F9 key which by the way is the "Sort Lines" shortcut in Sublime Text. So it completely ruined the code I was working on and I couldn't undo... At least I had saved about 5 minutes prior.
For now I'm somewhat back up using an AHK script to kill the F9 key. But because of that short, no keys will auto-repeat anymore. And many key presses are missed, making it really difficult to type anything.
I have been working on a new keyboard to replace this one. The layout has been completed and I'm about ready to cut it on the mill once the materials arrive. I have the controller but I haven't even begun to program it. And I'll probably end up borrowing a family member's computer to do that (unless I find a spare keyboard or buy one to use for just a couple of weeks).
