I hope that didnt sound insensitive. I was just imagining you in the drug store trying to make sense of what the old man was saying. It just seemed funny to me, i really am sorry about what happened.Shuugo said:
It's funny to third parties, but believe me it wasn't a funny matter to take a pill of something I didn't know what it was. I only took one, and when I was desperately with unbearable pain.
i remember when i had hernia surgery, i was on vics for a week. i didn't go to school. if you like being completely lucid at all times, don't take vicoden every 6 hours for a week. but as someone who's in constant physical pain, i can say that i do wish i had something to help me along. i liked xavier. sad that he's goin'. we should all wave bye-bye as he walks off into the sunset. and welcome back kisumi. i give you a celebratory fist bump. explode it! boosh! it's gotten intense here in the past half-day.
Chase your dreams. Regret nothing.... Go for it. Regrets are worse than any other feeling there is out there, even fear such as paranoia.kisumi said:
But then my policy and paranoia kicks in... it's terrible!
I would stand at your side and share your burden your grace, yet I can only imagine...otaku_emmy said:

Your sentiment towards Xavier is exemplary.
This is why i love konachan, the community is so close-knit and everyone seems to care about (or at least know) everyone else. I wish i could spend more time with you guys but ill be working on my list for about a year, and its hard typing and reading subtitles at the same time ^_^'
The last time I went through anything that reqiured drug intake was getting my wisdom teeth pulls back in 2001. I got like 2-days' worth of Vicoden. The rest of painkiller prescription was just 800mg (US prescription strength) pills of ibuprofen. Vicoden worked quite well (6-8 hours of relief). The ibuprofen? About 4-6 hours (closer to 4 if I recall.)
Beyond that, I don't recall a time I needed to take drugs. Well, I did get an IV once (dehydration), antihistamine shot in another case. Of course, I got whatever yearly vaccinations I needed (and some I didn't >_<). Not really drugs though. I don't even take over-the-counter stuff. The most I've taken since are cough drops like Halls. Not that I haven't gotten sick (I do about once a year or so). I just tend to literally drown my colds away.
I once caught a cold on a Friday (symptoms started). I felt shit on Saturday. I spent the whole weekend at home guzzling milk tea (I was still in JPN at the time, so I had bought a bunch from the local supermarket). I was fine and ready for work on Monday. That's all I did. No drugs taken.
The last time I got seriously sick was back in mid-late fall of 2010, a month or two after I move up here to Buffalo, NY. That crap lasted like 3 weeks. I was hacking up a lung nightly like clockwork for a week during the worst of it. I got something similar this past fall/winter season, but it wasn't as bad (still sucked). I guess what I got the first time was just something I wasn't used to when I first moved here.

I've... never been sick a day in my life. Not an illness. I'm sure everyone has at least one disease or mental disorder of some type, no matter how small. Whether it's OCD or nymphomania. As for having a cold, sore throat, or anything beyond stomach aches that could be attributed to various non-sickness things... can't remember the last time I did, or any childhood memories of being sick. I guess my immune system must be on par with my metabolism.
As for that Nes, I've got many personal reasons no one who's known me personally for long questions any more. They're beyond oversecurity or baseless paranoia. Just calling it something like a "justified case of extreme caution against identity or location leaks due to various valid personal circumstances" or something of the sort is kinda too much. So to simplify it I refer to it as my "policy" or "paranoia".

Aww the catgirls holding up the number of posts are gone. Oh well, it's nice to have the site back up again.
Is the new girl in the logo the official konachan mascot? I don't think I recognize her from any anime.

Haha yes. I just came back home, and without thinking I just refreshed my pages. Which seemed to be a good timing.Shuugo said:

That's what I'd say after clicking refresh in desperation for hours on end without relief like a real fan worthy of respect and fear......mostly fear though.Artwork said:

I jest, I jest ^^
But really having third party chat and a lot of other stuff to do really prevented me from being all to bothered about it. I used to get annoyed with WoW updates though back when I was a game addict.
Yes she is. Shirakawa Kona, or Kona-sama for you ;)Cade said:

There's currently only one image of her on the site. FYI, I was the uploader.
Because Stahn was too lazy to include it. Here you goStahnAileron said:

i like the new kona...and stahn's new avatar (MUCH less intimidating). i missed this place too. i always get paranoid about getting behind on my pic viewing. i hope you've all been well. i feel ok. they brought toonami back you guys. so freaking awesome. aqua teen is coming back soon too. wellp, here's to the new kona. banzaiiiiiiiiii!!!!!
I wasnt sure about it at first but i also like Stahns new avatar. The old one made me feel like i was being watched 0.0 im also happy to have Toonami back... however i dont have the time for it -_- still since kona was down i managed to watch 40 episodes of anime yesterday (my personal best) so it wasnt all bad. Oh yeah and my fish died... love the new kona btw, good job Shuugo! ^_^
sorry about your fish. 40 sounds like too much. i guess i'm one of those weird young people who still gets lots of sleep. i dvr toonami. btw, this is the first time kona has ever put me on edge (claimsssss). plus, it does not help having the shittiest pc on the eastern sea board.
Thanks ^_^ although i only knew Cuda for a few days i will never forget him. I guess 40 episodes is a lot, even for me (my average is 30 on a saturday) but im determined to finish my anime list. Im about to get into the 2000's section of my list, im making good time!

Kumacuda used to be Bearacuda, and before that Cuda007, but most of us shortened it to just Cuda, and then:

was a joke combining Cuda's shorthanded name and ecchi's fish...if i gave myself enough time, i could've prolly come up with something more clever using his beary name...Davis_500 said:
