Much the same like Emmy.
I really enjoy looking at figures, they're really pretty.
But you'd end up buying more and more to complete your collection. I don't have that kind of money. If I end up buying one, just one. It will be this one.
That is a pretty figure. See, I wouldn't be in it for collecting. I wouldn't but things just to make a set. If I really liked something, I'd buy it, regardless of whether it went with something else or not. That's if I COULD but them at all.

I like the really detailed figures and figures that are sexy. Sexy, not dirty. I like cast-off figures too.
This, just this. This forever. I WANT TEN.
I don't even recall why I collected all the Haruhi Bunny figures. Honestly, I only want Asakura's version (she be psychotic, but she's a hot psycho at least.) I think I wound up getting 2-3 other ones for relatively cheap (the "less popular" or overstock/over manufactured ones.) I think much like the ARIA set I had, I wound up with about half of the full set and thought, "Fuck it. If I have this many now, might as well get the rest..."

The ARIA set started off with me just wanting Akari, Alice, and Alicia. Once I had them at home and on display, I realized I had half the main cast. So I decided to go ahead and grab the other three (Aika, Akira, and Athena).

I never liked the cast-off figures for one simple reason: the cast-away part look like crap on a figure in many cases. They're massed produced, so it very rare to get a combination that's actually snug and not somewhat loose. Also, the cast-off parts have obvious seams where they snap together. Most figure try to hide their assembly seams for appearance. Can't quite do that with clothes all the time. (They're also more shit to lose.)

I do like interchangeable parts. Like my Aika figure: came with 2 heads. One was her older long-haired version. The other is her short-hair version (after her character growth.) I kept the short-hair version on. It looked better on her, IHMO. She was also much more mellowed out as a character after that point, so she was more likeable to me.
I got only one figurine, which is the exact same as Freya in post #71360
It came with the limited edition of vol. 3 of the manga I think.
I allways wanted a figure but I find the price tag on those I want stopping me from getting one.
Exactly. Really good ones can cost you an arm AND a leg.

If I ever were to get one, I'd probably pick something by Shunya Yamashita.
I never considred buying figures until this conversation started so I'm not sure which ones I'd like to have or rather if I really want any. Hmmm...
Yamashita-san makes REALLY beautiful statuettes.

I'd really like to have a very detailed figure of Motoko Kusanagi, and a few Tachikomas. They have ones that even have lights on them. Oh, and I'd like a nice Sakata Gintoki figure too. Other than that, it'd just be figures that I thought were very pretty.

I'd like to have a lot of little Nendoroid figures too.
I just want a little SD Patlabor ramen timer like they had in one of the episodes. I thought it was awesome, but could never find one.
I love Miss Kisumi's new avatar.

I'm watching Olympic rythmic gymnastics right now. It's very graceful and beautiful.

P.S. Oh my gosh! I don't know if anyone can or will help me, but I want to add a tag to post #138949 and I can't freaking figure out how! So if anyone can help, please do.

P.P.S. Nevermind. I figured it out. Now I have tagging to do.
Did you by any chance see the "edit" buttom right below the actual image? Press "edit" and you will find your answer. There is also an edit under Options.

Edit: lol you figured it out.
Yeah, I did ^_^. For some reason I had a memory of there being an Add Tag thingy. Don't know why I thought that. Thanks though FoliFF. I've really been wanting to tag that picture.
God I hate drawing eyes..
II've been working on a drawing (present) this week.. and came down to the coloring part. But I still haven't done the eyes. I hate eyes ... ARGG...
Still I'm pretty satisfied with the overal result. Since I never really colour, or use my comp to draw. I did sketch it first, and used some thick markers to highlight the most important lines. Scanned the paper afterwards. Decided to colour everything, eventhough it wasn't me first intention, since I pretty much also hate colouring. This has to be finished tomorrow.. The last thing is the eyes, and if I still got some time I might add some stuff to the background. If so, any ideas to add?
(Might be obvious, but it's for my girlfriend.)
Eyes? Seriously? wow. As far as I recall, eyes is what most artists get really good at without even trying. I know I sketch probably dozens of eyes for each complete head, and maybe a dozen heads for every full body picture xP

There are hundreds of eye-tutorials on deviantArt, did you ever tried those or they yielded no acceptable results?

As for background... ugh, I am awful at those, too. I would just stick a green-foliage-nature image back there. You can even add a filter to "arty" it, and nobody will notice <_<'
For background you could do some abstract stuff like swirls a other random things that come to mind. As for the eyes...i'm with on the same stand point as SK700... about the deviantART vids and youtube. That's what helped me.
News about my broken radius head: the plaster slab was taken off yesterday, the bone is healing nicely. Next two weeks I have a total of 6 appointments for physiotherapy to restore the movability of my left arm.
ganbatte, Charly! fight hard and get some nice shots of those pretty nurses ^_~
Yeah Davis, if I happen to find a pretty nurse, I'll take a photo of her for you :D
Pretty nurses live in dreams :(

And this is about all I can do for now. I can't seem to get some stuff right with Paint shopt pro.. More used to photoshop, but I lost it a few months back on a re-install/pc cleaning day.

Most pessimistic "Hot / sexy / fantastic things only happen in dreams and in stories" things aren't all that viable, but I have to say this is one that I don't have any base to argue with. You're more likely to get a nurse who speaks with an accent so heavy you can't understand her, and seems to be close to retirement.
Exactly. I can't remember a hot nurse in all the visits I had to the hospital.
Oh, Kisumi! I really loved that web page of your's. You're even foxier than I thought ;).

I saw one really good looking RNA (registered nurses' assistant) one time in the ER, but he was a man. He had gorgeous, dark skin, and beautiful black, kinky hair, and a nice beard, and dark brown eyes. He was new at the job. One old lady in pain was wailing at him. He looked yummy.
Uhhuh. Kinky hair eh? Some people have the strangest fetishes.
I imagine that's how my hair looks when I wake up.
Kinky.
I see what you did there.
Well, kinky is different than nappy or cow-licked.

I like kinky hair sometimes. Ethnic kinky hair. But mostly I like dark, thick, wavy hair with maybe a little gray at the temples. It must always be short too. It should be the kind of hair I can run my fingers through and tug at playfully.

I like a lot of different kinds of hair styles on a lady.
On girls, I prefer very long, black, open hair. Hip length is ideal for me. Sometimes short hair on girls can look awesome, too, but that's limited to very few individuals imho.
Short hair on girls isn't my thing. Which kinda works against be being that I'm lesbian... half the openly les girls have hair no longer than the nape of their neck. It can look cute in a boyish way, but I like girly girls and it's not really attractive. Like Justin Beiber, her hair is just a tad short for me. I'd still do her though. That angelic smooth porcelain skin, those pink, full, feminine lips. The latent girly sparkle in her eyes that just says rawr~ If she weren't so flat-chested I'd probably fantasize about her.

Do you have a problem with flat chested girls?
