hmm yes it does seem that yazora has short hair. Maybe the artist preferred yorzora to have sort hair instead of long.
imo she would look great in a long pony tail.

Since it has been six months , might as well say why. After
the festival the neighbors club attended, they decided to play with fireworks. As they watch the biggest firecracker that they have lighted and watched its glorious radiance, pieces of ember got caught in Yozora's hair. In panic, Kodaka splashed Yozora's hair with the water they used to put out the other firecrackers. Turns out that the ash mixed in the water permanently mixed with Yozora's hair, so she went to her stylist and that's how she got short hair after summer break.

But personally, I think it looks great on her.
