The anime art looks so off it scares me maybe they tried a little to hard on the fanservice?
It was pretty much nothing but fanservice, and not the best one at that. It isn't really an anime you'll rememberishmon16 said:

This image looks nothing like the actual series, though. Looks more like commissioned work to me. And no, it didn't have that much fanservice really. This is a pinup poster. Not expecting fanservice from one of these is a bit redundant.
You're a total idiot if you think this show was nothing but fanservice. And yes, like Troggy said, this is a poster from the magazine Nyantype, so it's basically offical art but someone other than the person who did the anime (and other posters) did it. This is like the only time you actually see them in swimsuits too.
Actually, as official pin-ups, they are sometimes done by the actual artist(s) who helped with the series (or associated). Promotional art =/= typical art in most cases when it comes to anime/manga, especially if it's work submitted for publishing in magazines like NyanType and Megami. You'd have to look at the credit text on the original images to be sure.
Five bucks says this guy didn't even watch it. Dog Days is relatively light on the fanservice, and it's one of my favorites!hejjagedu said:

You have to keep in mind that your definition of "Iight" fanservice may be different than our definition of light fanservice.kisumi said:

Keep in mind that he said "Nothing but fanservice" which is wrong no matter your definition, and that I said "relatively" light. Meaning "compared to some others".
