Edit: I have no issues with the Yaoi art, or the Yaoi lifestyle in real life, but as a devotee of the Konachan rule book, I'd say it crosses the line just a tad...

I'm with toes on this one. His sarcastically implied point that is. This image itself isn't explicit, but you're just naive if you think this is ANYTHING other than pre-sex cuddlings between gay guys.

That being said, by technicalities it's got no reason to be removed. However... since some pictures make it past the three day mark just because the mods "don't like them enough" (as has happened in the past), then it makes me wonder if this gets approved...

Of all the shounen_ai images posted (I looked), this is the first one that has them in a bed, clothes coming off, and infers sex is about to begin. I say toss it (just my 2 cents though)

It's an inarguable and already debated point with respect to male/female and female/female art already on Konachan. We all understand what it means when two subjects are embracing, in bed and disrobing. There are thousands of comments about it. To imply this is any different with respect to foreplay-sex, is silly.

This is very border line. I have nothing against it. But if we start seeing flood of this or full on gay images. I'm sure this will be banned aswell.

If it's that much of an issue I'll take it down but I only put it up because there IS a shounen ai tag as pointed out. and because carnelian draws beautiful boys

Shuugo, if I recall, is somewhat tolerant of shounen-ai. It's explicit shounen-ai (a.k.a. yaoi) he's definitively against. See post #69881's comments thread for more info. If you want to debate the site policy/practice in regards to Yaoi/Shounen-ai, proceed to forum #2033.

Personally, I like Carnelian's work in general. Lovely art, so I'm willing to look past the actual content. I mean, look at the details in the PJs. Wrinkled plaid pattern that's fairly accurate (or at least believeable)? Something like that is usually an artist's nightmare for detailing work. Some just cheat out of it using a fixed pattern, like this.

Edit: Nevermind, I've been flipping through forums and such on here, and all I've gotten was "It's icky" and "The mods think it's icky", but that yuri is perfectly fine, because there's totally nothing "icky" about that to *anyone*.

If you could actually point me to an anime wallpaper site that allows/has it, that'd be great.

Try Danbooru. Use your own screen's width and height in the search for images e.g. "width:1920" and "height:1080". You'll get only wallpaper sized images. And don't forget to add the tag yaoi in the search if you're looking for it.

Wow... this exists? I know it's not yaoi but this is still unexpected... how did I get here?

For the record, I have nothing against yaoi and those who enjoy it. But it's just not my cup of tea.
