No. Mirai is just a mascot character, much like our Shirakawa Kona. I'm pretty sure Danny isn't creating an anime with her. He does have connections in the anime and manga industry due to his work though.

I believe so. I do recall reading on his site (during one of the few times I went there) that there were at least 3 chars under the Suenaga surname, I think. At the very least, there's at least 2 more chars associated with Mirai and Danny Choo. If there are more (and whether they have proper names), I don't know. Personal mascot chars aren't readily and actively tracked here (since they're a niche).
