The fourth wall is the imaginary "wall" at the front of the stage in a traditional three-walled box set in a proscenium theatre, through which the audience sees the action in the world of the play.

I thought of that earlier, but the crack on the upper right is clearly ober her hair, so it's technically the "wall" towards the viewer and not the BG.

Also, is it just me, or does this look like an upscale? Line works is showing aliasing evident of upscaling. There's also off-coloring of the BG on the left side. Anyone know the original soure for this image? Seems to be a poor composite edit.
