That gun has got to weigh at least 5 times heavier than that girl and
have a recoil that rivals a 155 mm cannon.

The weapon incorporates an anti-gravity hovering mechanism...The same cannot be said of her clothes...powertwain1@juno.com said:

Or you know it's supporting itself with the stand and piston by her leg.
Or, super strength through genetic mutation. I would have to say super strength.powertwain1@juno.com said:
possibly a combination, but I would have to say, I agree more with Emceew. The mechanical "leg" would be absorbing most, if not all of the recoil while also being a targeting aid. That design makes more sense.AerisGospel said:

Leg or not, it would still have to hold the weight of the front end up and there's the issue of moving it around, although I guess the part we don't see could have wheels or such...But If the leg holds the front weight, then it would have to be planted in the ground a good three feet or so...The whole thing could be made with some super-light material, but then the projectiles would still need to be very heavy in order to accelerate and do damage effectively; current rail guns/projectile accelerators use depleted uranium, etc (very heavy objects)...
