ough technically, its a large size rice cake, or mochi "餅"in japanese perspective, which they have a lot wider range of rice cakes base on their regions and ocassions. in my home place though we call it as "糯米糍" , which also translates as rice cake.
well for stuffing.... from lotus paste (sweet as hell,also fat) , red bean paste, cream ( a little unusual) , custard and everything else that is sweet and rich in textures.
so yeah, unless you're into diabetes you might want to hold it off for regular tea time course.
