The leaning tower of Pisa finally fell over...although I doubt the structure is strong enough to remain intact at that angle.
Even a modern skyscraper wouldn't be able to survive that horizontal force.

And we are also left to wonder what happened to all the plaza and buildings around the tower.

Or for that matter why the trees seem to grow on the masonry but not the surrounding ground.

Oh, well. I suppose it is supposed to be dream-like.
The tower is made from mineral-rich materials?

Dammit! Hated that European Gigolo poster years back and now imagining that guy over here.
The leaning tower of Pisa is made from marble. At the very least, the tower in this image cannot be water soluble :).
