What ever it is, it really seems to catch the eye of anyone passing.
I can't make out the last character, Can't even remember seeing her in the anime, which I just saw 3 months ago.

Is there another series of Ichigo Mashimaru? I just watched it but when I see these pictures they don't look like the girls to me. Am I missing something?
Actually, the text says, "bara bara." (The text is all in Katakana, but I can see how you can mistake the katakana "ra" for the hiragana "u"...Though you rarely find the Kanas mixed in a single word.)squilibob said:

It's drawn in a similar style, Miu is kinda recognizable, and so is Chika, so if this is really Ichigo, it's probably from the manga. (Probably a late chapter. I don't recognize the middle girl either.)BSlove said:

Actually, now that I've looked at this again and thought about it...I don't think it's Ichigo Mashimaro: the girls never wore uniforms.
Also, "Chika's" hair color is off (I initially placed it as a difference from the manga vs anime), and "Miu's" hairstyle is different (don't recall her being the chinese "meatball" bun-style type.)
And of course, no one can identify the 3rd girl thus far...

Same artist, but NOT Ichigo Mashimaro. He has done alot of works aside from it.

I am not familiar with the individual characters, but I would venture to say these characters are from the doujinshi "shuukan watashi no oniichan" which Barasui did work on. I am also guessing the "bara bara" is a reference to the artist.

It's signed, but it appears to be a vector and I think that is an error on the vector artist's part. Clearly, neither image is Ichigo Mashimaro proper...
Either way, I am doing some research into the shuukan watashi no oniichan. Maybe get some character names. When I do, I will go through and do all the retagging. XD

These are indeed from shuukan watashi no oniichan. In fact, this exact scene is in the first volume. I found it just by skimming. I'll go back and read it soon and determine the character names as well.

Ashita is the one that looks like Chika, Harusame is the long haired one that looks like Osaka and Mion is the Miyu lookalike. Added the tags here!
