hmm I see. Firefox apparently renders JPEG worse than Paint shop Pro. I compared my version in PSP with a screenshot from the browser. My version ofthe image looks just as bad in FF.

Browser has nothing to do with it.
Only AnimationShop makes changes to the active image that reflect the final appearance. PaintShop will render as what it has in RAM.
