Darn it! Who've told you that images should actually weight over 1.5 MB's???? not everyone has unlimited internet,y'know... geez, seriously. Post a smaller image, won'cha?
And for what's more of it,DON'T POST SUCH LARGE-SCALE IMAGES IN *.png FORMAT,IT'S BARELY COMPRESSED!

lol why u load images when u know u got no flatrate?^^
This is a 5490x3493 .png, don't expect it to be 100kb.
You can decrease .png → high-quality .jpeg if you wanted to, but I don't see a problem with this size..
But, image samples work fine for me. :D

i kinda know it, BUT... before this post,i didn't have to use this option. and for what's more,i hope i won't have to use it later... Anyways, that just doesn't fit in my understanding... yeah, the bigger image is not actually worse....but only when it comes for the resolution.....NOT the actual file-size.My Account -> Settings -> Show Image Samples

However yeah, would've been better by decreasing .png → high-quality .jpeg. and, obviously,it was noticed not just by me :D
MOD: edited, there was bug of parser
I don't agree with you. Decreasing the quality of images is always a bad idea.
You can't make from a lower quality to a bigger quality image, but you can do the inverse action.
Also there are bigger images in this site, If I remember correctly there's one of 120mb at least, so don't say it's something new.
If you don't like high quality images I would recommend you visiting other sites like minitokyo or animewallpapers

Well, I think .png's are good for keeping the quality 100% top-notch (especially with scans), but sometimes when I save images to my computer, I do change them to .jpeg's. I have nothing against .png's (lol), but yeah. ^^
Seriously this is the first time I have ever seen someone to complain about high quality... Generally, especially if you want to do something with the picture later (banner, avatar, signature image, new wallpaper, ...) you are grateful for every additional pixel in height or length and for it NOT being jpeg.
You can easily guess the size of the image by the resolution and if you don't want high quality, filter out high-res pictures using the search. Also, I agree with Shuugo that this site exists to serve with high quality wallpapers and if you want low-end pictures, go somewhere else...

Don't flag this for deletion, it's ok seriously, I wish all the images had this quality.
