I'll be finishing watching Ghost Hound today, anyboby recommend this anime to me?

Also, am I the only one thinking that that blue-haired girl looks like Rika Furude from Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni?
Both animes even end with "No Naku Koro Ni"

yes the 2 animes are made by the same people and everyone that has watched higurashi no naku koro ni rei (the 3rd season) knows why spoiler they are the same person in the third season rika mentions that she should stop being bernkastel the witch and just be rika

...There's still a chance that she's not the same person. Ryukishi07 (the original author) hasn't written it in red yet, so its not absolute. For me, I believe they're similar, but not the exact same person.

The script for the Higurashi Rei anime wasn't written exactly to the original source. Therefore, not all of it is true. Trust me, I've played the game (and its way better than the anime version)....

i believe spoiler the simplest way to put it is to think of all of the memories, experiences and supernatural abilitys as a portable hardrive; said hardrive's name is bernkastel as the saesons of higurashi goes on when rika dies hanyuu pulls out said hardrive and places it into another rika in a differant dimmension untill kai when rika wins. Then in rei rika gives up said hardrive to be just rika their for hanyuu does something with the portable hardrive it then either evolves without a host or some one else finds it places it in some other person in the same dimmension that rei take place in said person becomes said hardrive without hanyuu and their for becomes the hardrive bernkastel which can use its spacial time ability to become said witch.

Thats an interesting way to think about it, but the way you typed it is a bit confusing...

I hope we get a definite answer by the end of Umineko. There are too many theorys about her true identity floating out there...

Hold on I just had a crazy thought, what if the tragic events that happened in the Higurashi series were all just another game to Bernkastel played out against another witch like Lambdadelta? Thinking back to the final part of the last episode in Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni Kai, I originally thought that it was an older version of Rika that had used Hanyuu's powers to prevent Takano from losing her parents so that even Takano could have a happy life. But what if that was actually Bernkastel putting an end to her prior mentioned game so that the tragedies wouldn't have ever happened!
