An obvious upscale with an amateur at work (edge softening and desperate use of brightness-contrast-intensity-tool). Sigh.

EDIT: But it's no surprise the uploader found it like this, many jap wallpaper boards have tons of poorly upscaled CG's. In fact the general level of quality on jap wallpaper sites is very poor, which ironically suggests that japs themselves are worst at making decent anime/game-themed wallpapers.

Yeah, a lot of the stuff i find is low res, upscaled, or a poor zoom layer.

Well for what it's worth, and this may sound weird, but I think it's a very pretty picture. lol
