Are the eyes blurry for any particular reason?

They look perfectly fine to me.

Look at the definition of the lines in her hair and compare them to her eyes. the detail on and around her pupils is slightly grainy. If you back away from the image, her eyes and her body don't look like they are done in the same fashion. It almost looks as if her eyes are superimposed on the image of the rest of her body.

Look at her glasses. I think the artist was trying to give you the sense of reflections in her eyes/the effects of her wearing the glasses. The oddity in the lower half of her eyes parallel the glasses.

Not what I was talking about. I was talking about the whole of her eyes, not a portion. I didn't even say anything about a reflection. I know what you're saying though.

I don't know how old this image is but based on the artist's other works it seems they have other methods of drawing eyes in the same style of art.

I need to stop looking at this picture now, I keep noticing more problems.
