As per Sci's comment on the parent, I cut and resized each char block and match the height of the BG/canvas area for each (~120px if you're wondering). I then lined them up and and centered them according to the BG/canvas. Hopefully this looks a bit more consistent.
Chars are in the exact same order, so if you guys want to port the notes over, it should be easy enough. (I copied and pasted the tag list from the parent already.)

I couldn't do anything about the horizontal dimension since I was targetting height as the common dimension and wanted to keep the ratios the same. I could've made them all actual squares, but then I would have had to stretch/squeeze most of them (only like 5 or so were close to square ratio.)Davis_500 said:

As for positioning, I lined them up by hand and eyeballed what looked aesthetically decent. I did have to cut out some o fthe whitespace between the grid though. I originally had 120px for each block with another 120px for spacing. Too much whitespace, so I had to trim it down to 80px spcaing AFTER I had fixed the positioning...That was a pain in the ass to edit...
The border edge size was dictated by the image (damn Marisa's block for having the image right on the corner...)
Still, +/- 2px accuracy isn't bad for a 1790x1410 image...^_~
So you can't see the difference between rgb(254,254,254) and rgb(255,255,255) then I take it.
I wasn't gonna put THAT much effort into it. I was contemplating cleaning each and every block to get rid of the old white BG and stuff...But yeah...I'm not doing that with my mouse and shitty monitor. Maybe if I had my Wacom Cintiq, sure...
I won't nitpick 1 offset for each color channel for an image I'm editing rather than composing. (Though I was borderline composing this considering the amount of editing I had to do...) Call me lazy ^_~ It was time consuming enough resizing each block individually by hand. ^_^;

You just use colour select with a few pixels of feather and low tolerance. At about 5 it will ignore the (1,1,1) change but stop at everything else.
