But well, this phrase somehow looks lame to me (maybe it's because I'm not a native english speaker and in my native language the "the" in this sentence is absolutely necessary or else it would be grammatical nonsense...).

I already said that in the last post. It's plain black (000000) so you can easily remove the text if you don't like it :)

Can you supply the link to the original source image? I'll approve this one because the parent post is, quite frankly, horrendous with the compression noise.

I do have one minor thing to point out to you though:

• the coloring at her shoulder and above isn't completely blended in with the pure black to the right. I can still see the tone color break.

It's just a technical thing to let you know for future reference in case you feel like doing other editing work.

Sorry, I can't supply any source link. I said that in a comment of the previous version which got deleted meanwhile (not the one with compression noise). I found the original picture on a well-known imageboard, which is known for fast 404'ing content, if you know what I mean ;)
I'm also very curious who drew this...

I'm not sure if I'll do other editing work, the first time I saw the parent post here I was like "omg that's THE one and only pic for my desktop.." and kinda freaked out when I found the original image without the horrible blocks everywhere, so I decided to recreate the wallpaper and share it with you guys.

Do you still have the original image, then? If so, upload it some place and send me a link or something via Dmail.
