blue_eyes higurashi_no_naku_koro_ni orange_hair ryuuguu_rena short_hair sketch

I like the style, but the eyes are WAY too big, even by anime standards. Also seems uneven. One on right looks significantly bigger than the one on the left, even taking into account perspective.
I draw this just near 2 hours,so there is can be some mistakes. But anyway i think if there is no big penis, breasts or something like this,it will be delited)
P.S. I must say that at that time Rena had really big eyes, cos i draw from screenshot
Those eyes, they can stare into ones soul at 50 Miles away!
Drawn with colored pencil, it looks beautiful. Actually, this is a alternate type of Anime drawn quite frequently through the 70's and 80's. I don't have an example of a series or movie, but have seen it many times. I seem to remember that there were a number of Anime Disney knock-off movies like Cinderella that came out like this.

I really like this picture.

This wouldn't be the first time I've seen anime with questionable animation/art direction then.
I believe that current anime actually evolved from the art pictured here. I did a little research and there were 20 or so movies released in the 70's mostly just like this and a bunch of Japanese originals (not many released here in the US). There was a Puss in Boots, Three Musketeers, Cinderella and a bunch of others. This seems to be the forefather style of what we watch now, making it an honorable anime art fixture .

Must be why I like it so much, cuz I grew up with a lot of it : )

What do you take konachan for? The mods here are actually mostly dead to porn. I know Sci, Anpan and Stahn at least don't approve on hotness. You haven't been here long if you think we've got that attitude!

As for the pictures itself

I agree with this, the eyes look as if she should be facing slightly more to our left. Other than that though, it's very well done! Very impressive! Congratulations, you seem to be one of the few self-drawn artists good enough to pass konachan standards. There are things accepted by professionals with worse errors anyway.

K, I think he or she's statement was because they're just new here, might have been just an innocent observation, based on the fact that they posted here anyway. Probably just young, and North Eastern Europeans tend to be a little more direct verbalizing. The fact that they're entry was innocuous is a good thing and would support my "young" feeling.

This comment, no matter how you look at it, is a snipe at the approval board's tastes.

Meh, you're probably correct. I suppose the only way to verify would be to quantify it. Add up all the images with nudity/sex and compare to the non-nude one's. Then numbers would tell if his statement was statistically correct, however I agree with your statement about the taste issue, Konachan has a rep for great quality and appreciation for detail in all aspects of any anime picture, nude or not; with pictures leaning toward neutrality I believe. But, I'm off topic.
To end the debate (as it's off-topic now), the user here has a poor track record of approvals versus deletions. As for his perception of the site, it's most likely due to the fact that MANY images that get through are game_cgs that contributors uploads. If you've been here long enough, you know Contrib-level uploads bypass the approval queue. Those two factors probably color his view of the site a bit.

His perception of the site isn't completely wrong. It's just mis-informed.
