Close, but no.
Now, I may be wrong of course, but that structure on the background is in fact the true form of the Holy Grail itself. That is, after it was corrupted by Angra Mainyu, the Persian god of darkness.
It was suppose to be some object that would actually grant any wish asked upon it, no matter how impossible it was. After its corruption, however, it still retained the same properties, but the only way it would grant the wish was by destruction.
Per example, if you wished to be the strongest person in the world, the Grail would kill every single other human being in the world so that you would be the only one left, and therefore the strongest.
Yeah, the Eye of Sauron wished he was this thing...

I don't quite think you can corrupt further caster, and the grial fail to corrupt Gilgamesh ego... to freaking big for even the grial to corrupt.
