She might want to let the barrel cool down a bit
I'm more concerned about the mechanisms of the gun.
For example, why is there a grip in the front and a grip and crank on the back of the gun? And how can she reach those?
Also, why and how does it eject the spent casings out of the back, right in the operators face?
Where's the charging handle? Can't be on the other side of the gun.
How do you aim with a giant magazine in your line of sight?
And how in the world can she carry this thing?
I do like the image as a whole though, it has a certain "bad-ass"-ish thing to it ;) Optically, it reminds me a lot of the famous browning M1919 machine gun.

You just killed catgirls by bringing real world facts into animu!
*cough*
Well...
1. The people who do the maint. job maybe? Or if it's stuck? The back one at least. The frontal one... can't you see the big badass red robotic arm?
2. You're thinking conventional men carried guns. Think artillery instead. If you don't understand that... just know that used shells are released through the back in most single shot artillery guns (afaik and deduce).
3. How do you aim without a sight to aim? But enough of that, the magazine in the back is not in her line of sight. It's actually farther from the gun than she is. Depth perception? Or something...
4. You don't question cyborgs/androids/artificial humans/demons/super beings ;)

I will avenge the catgirls! D:
Well, that explained some issues alright, but i still have questions! *Raises hand*
I was indeed thinking about how it could be an artillery gun, but the size of the girl (Giant? IDK, no background) and the magazine (too many rounds for being artillery) just let me assume it was a slightly bigger Version of a normal MG. I noticed the space to the right of the back machinery, i believe this is where the operator sits.
To the aiming, i guess that's done by the operator, since she can't trigger/reload/do all that stuff by herself. So the said operator would have to aim downsights, or spray and pray.
Either way, being a cyborg/artificial human/demon/super being does benefit this situation a lot ^-^
