How do you perfectly upscale a picture?

It's not ideal for all images though. Small images with lacework for example; if there's not enough detail in the original image, it will end up rather ugly. Of the 34 small images I just tried, only 14 were worth uploading.

I click on download zip, and I open the zip file, and there's like, all these files? I'm confused.

Edit: I'm on a mac

Read the instructions on that site. It runs on linux and requires a CUDA capable graphics card. There's also a demo site set up, but I suggest setting up your own system for it if you're going to do a lot of them.

It always outputs PNG, but as I said, you won't always get a perfect result. It depends on the quality and detail of the original image.
