While it may look cute, long hair on "super heroes" is just absurd. I recall a story from some years ago: an off duty police woman working as a rent-a-cop at the local mall confronted a shoplifter, who grabbed her by her long hair (down to the center of her back), swung her around like a kettlebell tossing her down the escalator. Fortunately her ego took the brunt of the damage emerging from that incident with a few scrapes, superficial bruises and..... sporting a new short pixie haircut :)
