Aliasing combined with chromatic aberration is not easy on the 'ol peepers.

Yes, that effect makes the aliasing worse. But it's only on the railing that it really bothers me. I would probably approve this kind of artwork if that were the only flaw.
I'm really bothered by the lighting at the top that looks like abrupt edges on semi-transparent lighting/texture layers (not fading to fully transparent). For an image like this, that could be an intended effect. But they are all sharp, perfectly vertical transitions...
