It's really a niche series only appreciated by the informed masses. I remember starting the series when I was younger and how boring I thought it was so I quit watching. Wasn't until several years later that I went back to it and loved it. I guess it takes a certain amount of maturity to appreciate this series I guess?

Well at least Funimation licensed it now, so more people will get the chance to deliver their verdict concerning its quality as a series.
