Eh. My sister is an animal-rights activist vegan. This image would be one to enrage her.
The part of it where I agree with her is not about eating animals. Instead the problem where they should remain focused is the miserable and cruel conditions that food animals are subjected to while they are alive. They don't get an idyllic and pleasant existence like the one in this picture.

I agree. That is why I like how Japan treats their food with gratitude stating the words "itadakimasu" - acknowledging the life given by the plants and animals that made up the meal. Not to mention the ordeal they had to go through it - from their birth, to death, to processing. It's not a pretty sight (referencing "Food Inc" documentary).
