Some would argue that BRS is a version of Miku. Her design is based on Miku.

BRS came from Miku. Infact Miku sang about her. Without Miku you wouldn't have BRS. It's just now they are split up.

If I remember the story correctly their similarity was a coincidence. The song Black Rock Shooter was written by ryo after he noticed the similarity. huke (the original artist) joined Supercell soon afterwards.

And really, the only physical similarity between them is their unusually long twintails and lack in the udder department.
